Fellowships
The Santa Clara Schools Foundation Service Learning Fellowship is a structured year-long program for any SCUSD high school student that connects participants with meaningful volunteer opportunities in social media management, event coordination, and program leadership.
Fellows collaborate with SCSF to execute community-impactful initiatives, while developing crucial networking, communication, and project management skills. Learn more below!
Hands-on Learning Experience
Fellows gain real-world professional experience managing foundation initiatives and community projects with measurable impact. Students build tangible projects like websites and coordinate large-scale events in authentic work environments.
Project Management & Focus Areas
Students develop leadership skills through four key areas: social media marketing, event coordination, program leadership, and special projects. Fellows manage timelines and budgets, while serving on the student advisory committee.
Mentorship & Professional Development
Direct mentorship from SCSF staff and community leaders provides training in professional communication, public speaking, and presentation skills. Students build a professional network of mentors and community connections for future career opportunities.
Community Involvement & Impact
Fellows serve 6,500+ community members through coordinated outreach and educational support. Students make meaningful contributions to local education initiatives while strengthening the bridge between schools and community resources.​
