Fellowships

The Santa Clara Schools Foundation Service Learning Fellowship is a structured year-long program for any SCUSD high school student that connects participants with meaningful volunteer opportunities in social media management, event coordination, and program leadership.

Fellows collaborate with SCSF to execute community-impactful initiatives, while developing crucial networking, communication, and project management skills. Learn more below!

Social Media and Marketing

  • Management of SCSF Instagram and Facebook pages

  • 6,500+ people reached with a 2500% increase in impressions

  • 800% increase in profile activity and interactions

  • Developed project management and communication skills

  • Exposure to valuable real-world working experience

Back to School Supply Drive

  • Raised $11,720 from community members and partners

    • In-kind donations: 300 backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils, calculators, and other school essentials

  • Over 500 children in SCUSD schools helped

  • Real world exposure in organizing and executing a service project

  • Importance of communication and time management

Farm to Table Dinner

  • Directed the coordination of a formal dining event with VIPs

  • Managed vendor relationships and guest experience

  • Created promotional materials like flyers and banners to advertise

  • Assisted with food coordination, worked closely with nutrition services

Applications

​Students must be currently enrolled in an SCUSD high school to be eligible for this fellowship program. The next

application cycle begins March 2026. More information will be posted closer to the application cycle.
