You can support the students and teachers of the district in many ways!
Donate
Donate cash:
You can donate online or send us a check. If you sign up for recurring monthly donations, that really helps with our budgeting. You can donate online here:
Donate new school supplies, including backpacks and shoes:
We have an annual drive for school supplies, backpacks and shoes. You can help with the items themselves, or a donation that will be used for those items of need.

Join a Community
Join the board of directors:
We're always looking for dedicated, hard-working individuals who want to make a genuine difference in our community. Let us know if you have questions! The board of directors meets regularly and is responsible for the thoughtful stewardship of donated funds. Let us know if you're interested!
Join the advisory board:
The advisory board does not meet regularly, and it is composed of people who wish to put their knowledge, experience, or expertise to work in the service of the students and teachers of the district. The advisory board members typically get around one email/month asking for their thoughts and opinions on various topics and decisions related to the SCSF. There is no obligation to reply to every email, and being a member of the advisory board doesn't mean you can't also volunteer to do more from time to time. Email if you're interested!
Join the volunteer corps:
This is a new initiative to build a group of volunteers who might be interested in helping out when we have projects that need helping hands. Joining the volunteer corps doesn't obligate you to participate every volunteer opportunity, but it does mean that you'll get an email when we have a need for volunteers.
Other Ways
Establish a scholarship:
If you wanted to honor a loved one with the creation of a scholarship in their honor, we can help with that. Or a family scholarship, or the Santa Clara Class of 1987 scholarship, or a scholarship for animal lovers! Let us know what you have in mind and we can discuss details.
Employer matching:
Many employers have charitable matching programs; if you need a hand figuring out if your employer is one of them, let us know and we'll look into it!
The Farmstand:
Come enjoy some of the freshest produce around! High school students sell produce grown at the district farm and learn about customer service, inventory management, and marketing. Learn more here:

Planned Giving:
Many people want to ensure that their legacies will live on in the future, and planned giving is a great way to make sure that causes near and dear to your heart continue to benefit from your generosity. One way to proceed is to complete this planned giving guide and then bring a copy to discuss with your estate planning lawyer.
SCUSD employee automatic payroll deductions:
SCUSD employees already give so much! But if you're feeling particularly charitable and you want to make a difference without having to remember each month, this is for you! Print out the signup form and send it to Nora Dipko in HR; she'll take care of the rest! (You'll notice the form actually includes two copies of the same form -- that's so you can tear the sheet in half and share it with a friend!)
