Donations Needed for Back to School Celebration for all Faculty and Staff 2022
The Santa Clara Schools Foundation (SCSF), SCUSD’s official district-connected 501c3 foundation, is actively recruiting donors for our Back-to-School celebration in August 2022. We’re working hard to make our schools places where our students have the facilities necessary to learn and grow into their full potential. However, in order to reach our goal of supporting students with our facilities, we also need to help build up our staff that have been impacted by COVID-19.
This is an in-person celebration for all 2,500 SCUSD staff members on August 8, 2022 in Santa Clara. It’s great that we’re back in person, but there’s so much work to be done to catch students back up, and our teachers and staff have gone to extraordinary lengths for our students. At the celebration, staff will engage in mindfulness workshops, have some much-needed fun, enjoy food and drinks, and receive a special thank you gift. Our goal is to raise $30,000 to help cover the cost of this event. As a staff-focused celebration, the district is not able to use public funds, so the Santa Clara Schools Foundation is organizing this event.
