Don and Clare Callejon First-Generation College Scholarship
Five scholarships of $1,500 may be awarded annually to qualified and selected applicants.
Qualifications
All Santa Clara Unified High School students who will be the first in their families to attend a 2- or 4-year college or university. Students must be planning to enroll full-time in an institution of higher education for the upcoming fall term. Applicants must also complete a two-part essay question (see details in the Application below).
Application Deadline
The application must be submitted by March 31st of each year.
Process
All decisions are at the complete discretion of the Santa Clara Schools Foundation Scholarship Award Committee. Recipients will be notified of the final decision by June 1st. Should you be selected, proof of enrollment/registration from your selected institution must be received by 10/31 to claim the funding. Scholarships may not be deferred by the recipient.
