Bike Repair Shop and Apprenticeship Program
A program for students to learn both introductory and advanced bicycle repair, under the tutelage of experienced bike repair technicians. Upon successful completion of the training program, students will be ready for a career in bike repair.
Convocation
An annual "Welcome back to school" event for all 2,500 SCUSD staff members. Cannot be funded via public funds.

A crowdsourcing platform for teachers. SCSF keeps an eye on projects that are close to being funded and takes advantage of double- and triple-matching days.
Family Resource Center Programs
Fiscal Sponsorship for schools, booster clubs, PTAs, and PTSAs
While booster clubs and schools are waiting for their EINs to be processed, SCSF can provide fiscal sponsorship of organizations that align with our educational goals.
High School Internship Program
A program for high school students interested in business or nonprofit work, which provides real-world opportunities to make a genuine difference for the teachers and students of SCUSD.
IT/Tech Support Center and Apprenticeship Program
A program where students will work with the public to repair computers, diagnose hardware and software problems, and provide front-line tech support for a variety of platforms and problems. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be workforce-ready for a variety of IT-related careers.
Scholarships and Citizenship Awards
We offer a variety of scholarships to help students attend college.
Student-Directed Microloans via KIVA and KLA
Business students decide how to invest Microloans across the world, tracking ROI, impact, and planning how to reinvest loans on irregular schedules.
Teacher Grants
Teachers need all kinds of things to help their students learn, but the schools can't afford everything. SCSF steps in to fill those gaps and help teachers get what they need for their students to be successful.
The Farmstand
A project where high school students learn about marketing, customer service, inventory management, and cash handling at the district farm. The public is encouraged to come by and see what's fresh!

- Steps 4 Success Shoe Drive: An annual push for new shoes for kids.
- Thanksgiving Meal Drive: An annual event to ensure families have plenty to eat on Thanksgiving.
- Tutoring: SCUSD students receive tutoring in mathematics, writing, and other subjects as needed, using older student volunteers. This program can be used to satisfy high school community service requirements.
- Winter Holiday Gift Drive: An annual event to ensure that families have gifts around this time of year.

Endowment Development
An initiative to help the Foundation's endowment reach $1,000,000. With a million dollars, with average returns in the stock market, we could run all our programs at their current capacities and spend less on fundraising and more on our teachers and students.
Graduation signs
An initiative to provide graduation signs to families of graduates in every high school.
Student-initiated projects
A program to support SCUSD students who have an idea to improve their communities.
Teacher-to-Administrator Credentialing Program
A program to support our teachers who wish to earn admin credentials and become Principals and Vice-Principals in the district.
Teacher School Supply Fund
A fund with one goal in mind: no teacher should have to pay for any school supplies.
Therapy for All
A program to put therapists or interns in every school and create an opportunity for students and staff to receive therapy at no cost to them.
Traveling Art and Music Teachers
A program that allows teachers at one site dedicated collaboration time, to ensure alignment with state and district standards. The Art and Music Teachers travel from site to site on a regular schedule to make planning easier.
