Our ImpactWe work closely with the Santa Clara Unified School District to ensure that what we fund is consistent with the district’s goals and state standards for education. We fund grants, programs, and scholarships that encourage quality academic performance, give students hands-on experiences and promote their interest in learning.
All requests are reviewed by a grant committee. The process is thorough but not complicated or time-consuming, so we can respond quickly to worthwhile requests. |

The FarmThe Farm has harvested over 35,000 pounds of produce that has been served in Santa Clara Unified Cafeterias. We have harvested and served rainbow carrots, fava beans, red romaine lettuce, cabbage, kale, snap peas, radishes, blood oranges, nectarines, apricots, eggplant, squash, tomatoes, basil, and cilantro. Nutrition Services also uses the farm produce for Nutrition Education in the cafeteria. For example, the kale that was harvested was made into kale chips and sampled with the students. They loved it!

Bryan Osborn Nature Area The nature area is a place where students can make a positive change to their environment through restoration activities. The natural area provides refuge for students and teachers looking to escape the hustle-bustle of a busy campus to relax and seek inspiration. It also functions as an ecological island attracting and supporting a wide range of biodiversity.
