Five Focus Areas
Students who are Socioeconomically-Disadvantaged
Interventions at the school and community level are critical given significant education gaps by social class. Cooperation between schools, parents, and the community is one of the keys to closing achievement gaps.
Students in special education
Supporting special education programs provides meaningful, purposeful, and fulfilling educational opportunities that help our special education students develop to reach their highest potential.
Student Equity
Cooperation between schools, parents, and the community is one of the keys to closing achievement gaps in our underrepresented students.
Student engagement in environmental stewardship and education
Supporting programs that bring nature into the classroom or programs that take our students out to learn helps our students appreciate our environment and brings many benefits for students, educators, and communities.
Student access to STEAM education and project-based learning (PBL)
Introducing STEAM knowledge to students helps them develop creativity and critical thinking and helps them learn to solve problems. Project-Based Learning brings real-life context and technology to our students encouraging them to become independent workers and critical thinkers.
