How Do We Spend Our Money?

Our goal is to enrich the learning experiences of students throughout the Santa Clara Unified School District by supplementing what the district can provide. We work closely with the district to ensure what we fund is consistent with the district’s goals and state standards for education. We look for grant requests that encourage quality academic performance, give students hands-on experiences, and promote their interest in learning.

All grant requests are reviewed by a grant committee to validate that they comply with our standards. The process is thorough but not complicated or time consuming, so we can respond quickly to worthwhile requests.

Scholarships

Graduating seniors who plan to pursue higher education are invited to apply for scholarships. Here again, the process is simple and straightforward. There is an academic requirement that must be met, but community involvement and being well-rounded are also major factors in awarding the scholarships.

Citizenship Awards

Graduating Seniors who demonstrate outstanding leadership may receive special citizenship awards.
