How Much Of Your Donation Makes It Into The Classroom?
Since we are an all-volunteer organization, the Foundation’s administrative overhead is almost zero, and nearly 100% of the money raised goes to enhance education and learning in the Santa Clara Unified School District.
Why Should I Donate?
California is ranked 47th among states in per-pupil spending, and massive annual state funding cuts for our schools have become the norm. The Santa Clara Unified School District maintains an excellent reputation for sound fiscal management and education programs. Despite declining revenues, in the last few years, several schools in the district have received California Distinguished School Awards. However, maintaining this level of excellence with ever-decreasing funds gets tougher each year.
That is where the Foundation can make a difference, and for us to be effective we need your support. As an alumnus, parent, grandparent, or member of the community at large, we are asking you to consider investing in the future of our children.
